Matt is choice for Fareham again

Portsmouth councillor Matthew Winnington is again the Liberal Democrats' choice to fight the  Fareham constituency at the General Election on June 8.

Matthew contested the seat in the 2015 General Election, and impressed residents as the most fluent and well-informed of the candidates at hustings meetings held in the town that year.

The Eastney and Craneswater councillor won his seat in 2012, greatly increasing the Lib Dem majority.

He has strong family connections with Fareham, where his wife Patricia grew up, and he has worked with the local party in recent campaigns.

Fareham Lib Dems are delighted to be able once more to put forward a young and energetic candidate who has proved himself in the tough arena of city politics.
