The Transport Secretary hasnow told rail operators to scrap the plans.

Our Rail ticket offices, are a lifeline for so many passengers - particularly those who are elderly or disabled, or tourists supporting our local economy.

Our local stations - Fareham, Swanwick and Portchester - are vital to the health of our town.

Portchester's Councillor Chrissie Bainbridge and Park Gate Lib Dem candidate Gayathri Sathyanath were among Lib Dems all around the country who recently collected signatures for our petition against the closures..
